Besson is the name of the shop that made my (read: my highschool's) bass trombone. I wanted to tie in my jazz background. lso when MAH said it it in my head it sounded sexy.

The line "tune the fm in to static and pretend that it's the sea" has some very powerful imagery to me, especially in the context of the song (night time, anxiety, insomnia, depression, etc.). Lots of my songs (not just my electronic music) atmospheres come from walking home at two or three a.m. and have themes of depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc. and escapism (finding comfort in radio static, for example). So yeah, I thought FmSea was appropriate, had some cool imagery, and was just mysterious enough to be interesting haha

it took me forever.... idont even know if i like it.
i think i was looking through the dictionary.. and i saw elevate and liked the word.. and then came across ascent cause they have similar meanings
i think i prefer elevate, i like how that word looks. also i dont like words that begin with A that much. ascent is a shit name. now im going to change it

I like Ascent.. And "Elevate" is too much like elevator, or "alleviate" imo.... people will confuse u for a headache remedy
I decided on "Today" years ago just cuz it's simple and states what I'm trying to do which is be relevant and current in entertainment. prior to making beats it was just a weed-dealing alias
