Come on mate, if your life depended on it could you atleast guess?

Take a section of bassline, duplicate it, reverse it, put it inbetween two normal sections of bassline.

Go suck up to him then. :t: A friend of mine, Cliffhanga [D&B producer] sent it to me. DaVIP sent it to him in the first place. It's not mine to send about.

Why wouldn't I be?

FL Studio is just as equipped as Logic/Abelton/Reason/etc.

Anyone who slags it off is living in the past. :L

But yeah, I do dip into Logic/Abelton/Reason sometimes but FL is the one for me. :)

i dont get how people can afford to own 4 or 5 DAWs and i also dont see the point using more than 2. i just stick to FL, i used Reason 3 at college and i had to temporarily have Reason 3 at home last year in aid of my music technology course.. i had NO other way of completing assignments which i failed half of them since i didnt get to install it till much later. ever since i finished the course few months ago i just stick 2 good old FL + there are similar free vsts capable of subtraktor/maelstrom sounds. iv messed around in reaper before it had a price but thats about it. im not really questioning legitimacy, im kinda wondering whats the point using way too many different DAWs.. its way better to master one DAW inside out IMO, iv been using FL for 9 years nearly and im still learning more about it now.

Maybe they love the DAWs? Like people who play games, they don't play 1 game forever :) DAWs are fun, can be some1s hobby.. im on ableton right now, but I might start rewiring my old Reason 4 again, I loved it :)

Also VSTs are never that stable as built in plugins (at least from my experience, sometimes its an ass to automate such parameters from a vst.. for example I don't know how can you automate some massive parameters like when you have a synced LFO, how do you automate the LFO rate?) Also when you automated some parameters from your vst, you cant seem to mess with it anymore, it cancels audio for me (in most cases) I still need to practice in ableton, anyways if some1 knows the solution feel free to throw it at me!

In reason you just right click on anything and you get the automation lane instantly :i: .

We gone a little bit off from snares, but w/e :)

haha true say its off topic now but to be honest it easy to automate VSTs in FL and in Reaper, takes like 3 mouse clicks. Reason is just 1 mouse click less for automation. if you wana learn how to automate massive's LFO rate amount properly then maybe look for an automation tutorial for your DAW and it should shed some light. theres nothing wrong with VSTs in my opinion i use tonnes of great freeware. its usually beta software like U-he Diva and also crackware that aren't stable. fair enough i get what your saying, i guess everyone is different and has their own preferences
