I have been really liking Etap2. There is no way this should be free, but I am glad it is:

heya guys, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who shared their favourite freebie plugins on here. I spent hours last night tracking them all down and testing them out, and now I have found possibly one of the best synths I have ever used!

Big up you all! :)

If I told you...........

I'd have to kill you! -t-

Na seriously, a synth called 'Surge' by Vember Audio. (http://www.vemberaudio.se/surge.php)

Surge is exactly what would happen if scientists genetically merged NI Massive with DiscoDSP Discovery! (Or Half Life 2 with Z3ta+) 8)

It's not free, but I actually intend on purchasing it after checking out the demo! The range of sounds is incredible :)

I was super impressed by one of the synth string sounds heard in one of the demo MP3's on their website. Impressively, it took me exactly 0.3 seconds to make a filthy bassline that I wouldn't dare play to my grandmother.... Lest it offends her sensibilities..! :o

Check it out!

Yeah, SubDuer, and Glitch are probably the most important to me atm. But Im planning on dropping both once I get my new desktop setup with FL studios and NIMassive

Surge looks pretty sweet, what's the damage?

Blockfish is not only my favorite but my only free plugin :( (The only one that actually gets used on a regular basis).

I'd have to say my top 3 are:

1. TAL-filter
2. TAL-Dub
3. Crystal

If I had to put one more on there, I'd say sub.

Worth repeating for emphasis. Chimera is my favourite pad synth at the moment, and the concept behind it (subtractive white noise synthesis?) is a brilliant one. It's such a haunting sound with so much natural movement.
