Re: NHL official topic
i doubt it would be as extensive as boston though. i mean, how many true hockey cities are there in the states aside from boston? no other city would really care enough.
Re: NHL official topic
that's true...
maybe detroit, but, im guessing they know not to say (type) those sorts of things in public

These people need to be smacked about.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Re: NHL official topic
what a shitty first round in the West. Not only did I get three (well two actually I knew DET were going to lose but you can't bail on your team in public) results wrong, among the winners there's not one team I sympathise with. Especially the PHX-NAS series is one I couldn't care less about. I hope the Kings win the conference finals as 8th seed.
In the East things are fortunately a lot more interesting, with no team gaining easy access to the second round. I told you Boston weren't going to get an easy win!!
I'll be following the eastern conference duels, but I simply don't care about the west any more.
STL > LAK in 6
NSH > PHX in 7
WAS > NYR in 6
PHI > NJD in 7

this stanley cup final was one of the most boring that i'd ever seen tbh.kidshuffle wrote:I would also like to see LA win, but fuck Darryl Sutter.
Re: NHL official topic
I agree! and yes I admit it: I lost interest after the Rangers and Red Wings went out respectively. LA: cool, but meh.

Nice one,
pretty interesting with the new divisions and all. Will my Red Wings be wooing their decision to play in the Atlantic Division and see theirpro-sports record trashed by missing out on the post-season for the first time in 20+ years?
That's the question that's bothering me. I can see only one out of these four teams winning the cup this year, Boston - Chicago - St. Louis and maybe San Jose. There seems to be a pretty big gap in quality in the West, at least the East seems closer.
Gotta love the Maple Leafs lol...

Re: NHL official topic
I dont think the red wings will rethink their decision to play in the east
Seeing as how if they were in the west right now theyd have absolutely no shot at the playoffs

Yeah true, oversight by me. Veteran quality there.
Re: NHL official topic
If they regret anything it should be having Nyquist down with Grand Rapids for the first quarter of the season and re-signing Cleary.rayman612 wrote:I dont think the red wings will rethink their decision to play in the east

Re: NHL official topic
I wouldn't say that, the conferences are just completely different styles. A lot of bottom feeding teams in the west could be competitive out east, but not vice versa imojoeki wrote:There seems to be a pretty big gap in quality in the West, at least the East seems closer.
