I think if you pick a pokemon which has an evolution/is an evolution - you should have to build a track for all the set; that way - each evolution is covered by the same artist and brings the interpretation to amazing feats; as you'd have to VIP a track 2-3 times!

P.S - A month for lets say... 50 producers (about all we have in here who are active) to make a 2 + minute track seems like a HUGE feat in itself (about 10-15 will actually make tracks); I say let this project run all of summer to compile it during the Autumn for a Winter release. That gives enough time for people really interested in the project to go down the list and be 100% sure we have caught them all!

So, 3 different slightly different tracks for each chain, or one track with 3 distinct parts in it? I'd be down to bounce out a few different versions, but that seems a bit much to expect people to listen to. Especially if they were just VIPs.

Say I am doing Dugtrio, right? My logical and artistic mind thinks "if someone else done diglet, since there is 2 people making 2 tracks for 2 of the 'same' pokemon they would be represented in 2 totally different ways".

It wouldn't flow very well and would just be a collection of tracks with Pokemon names - granted that is what it will be anyways but at least each evolution would be interpreted by the same person; even if the only recognizable thing is that producers distinctive sound!

I just said VIP because I know I would "remix" diglet when I was doing dugtrio; just as a reference point of where it came from.
