Mine was from the TTT site and isn't defective at all, it sounds crisp as anything!

the Redeye Records facebook update yesterday was this:

"A bit of news on our Joy O - Ellipsis orders: The word from the top is that the whole batch was warped and so were all sent back. New pressings are expected to be in stock and sent out within the next couple of weeks"

Guess some of us were lucky with our copies, sucks massively for all parties involved though with those warped pressings.

You'd like to think that Hinge Finger would be happy to replace warped copies free of charge...

Fortunately I'm not one of them, but feel for the people with fucked copies.

well im glad i did my redeye order w/ this in it in 2 separate shipping batches

wouldve had to wait this long to get a bunch of records that have been out for years

finally got this 12" in the mail.

for me, its holding up the new kowton and that head high "rave" release.

not the worst i've had tho. I've been preorder-waiting on that mr. fingers distance revisted 12" for 5 months. THAT one was holding up bunch of records until I finally sent Tom an e-mail.

Copped at chemical but that's awfully annoying that redeye got shorted by so many. Joy-O's label almost fucked me out of getting this record.

i am just lucky i got this record. some weeks ago i bought a copy at hardwax out of pure impatience with my order at redeye.

artists need to realize that a record's value shouldn't be determined by its limited pressing, but by its musical quality.

How you gonna decide what price you should use when music is subjective?

Also, don't know the numbers involved with this record, so might be irrelevant, but limited pressings will be more expensive, as the price per unit will be higher. If you're pressing at £3 a record, by the time it gets to the shop, it might cost £7/8. If you're pressing at £1.50 a record, it's obviously gonna cost less.
