Plugins you couldn't live without/in every track you make

Does anyone sculpt their drums in synths rather than using samples? What VSTs do you use? I'm using all samples for my perc right now but I'm kind of interested in the concept of creating my drums

dblueglitch : it was fun some years ago with the IDM and breakcore stuff, then it become way too much overused, recognizable, lazy and clichèd, also it's weird when people such as shitty top40 producers use such a beast only for that lame tape stop effect..

dblue glitch needs to allow multiple instances of the same effect with different settings for it to really step it up.

if they did that I'd use it in every song just for sound creation

Dblue Glitch + Gross Beat is the lazy man's way of secret glitching. As in, it wont be that obvious that you used Glitch.

but I can do the same stuff with audio effect racks + dummy clips so I cant be bothered to spend money on it though it might speed up certain things

Wait dude reason 6.5 is going to support plugins?

there called rack extensions basically vst just for reason so you can load and save them in combinators cntrl z working in them, and they are cross platform...theres a bunch of developers already on board for when it drops in the summer

Sooo much better than regular plugins too, way more control / tweakability. Definitely worth the dolla.
It will be different than the usual daw with plugins, because you can still patch everything.

Heard they are making a 1176 clone and Papen is actually porting existing stuff to RE.
