When I'm done with this coast guard thing, I'm renouncing all non-music related possessions, putting music related possessions in storage, and moving to southern Oregon to live in a small cabinand grow tomatoes for at least a year.

It's crazy considering how standard my current trajectory is.

then they should be obliged to further subsidize the raising of housing standards for others.
If everyone was freely housed, the inane mortgage/rent struggle could be replaced by more edifying pursuits
with less enslavement to bankers & bosses and a countering of military exploitation of the poor.
Really clever people could work out how to implement & finance such a social initiative.

In case you are imagining crime-ridden/run-down/high-rise council housing,

no, I had a couple

O that's right
in the upcoming hearing which threatens to evict me
I'm going to plead OTHERWISE HOMELESS
& inform the court
that the plaintiff might prefer to avoid the consequences of the eviction
after all it is my home & I have some claim, through tribal association, to residency
if I decide that I can go on living after being thrown off my homeland.
Of course no magistrate would believe such nonsense from a bad actor
but I'm no bad actor.
