-First time I heard dubstep through a system. I believe it was Pinch...dropped Skream - Memories of 3rd Base into Breakage - Higher ... Fucking wicked.

-Seeing RSD and finally understanding why they call it DUBstep...The moment when you realise that music is made for you and you for it

-Seeing Mala/Loefah/Coki/Pinch/Peveralist/Kode 9/Youngsta all at the same night. Kode9 played a wicked jungle selection. Oh my days what a night.

oh actually yeah, add that too the list.

The satisfaction of feeling a tune you have produced.

the satisfaction of someone else feeling a tune you have produced (not out of friends just saying it's good because your friends, but people actually feeling it)

This. One of the best DJs I've seen. NOBODY standing still when he was playing.

- First heard 'Stopper' by SLT on a rig.
- First heard 'Knowledge' and 'Dibble' by Toasty on a rig.
- First heard 'Root' by Loefah on a rig.
- First heard 'AntiWar Dub' by DMZ on a rig.
- First heard 'Earth a Run Red' by DMZ on a rig.
- First heard 'Roll with the Punches' by Peverelist on a rig.
- First heard 'Quwwali' by Pinch on a rig.
- First heard 'Radiant Industry' by Jamie Vex'd on a rig.
- Attending Subloaded 2, possibly the best night I have been to.
- Attending every DMZ birthday from 1-5.
- Having a release on a label that was already the highest acclaim I have ever wanted to aim for, Punch Drunk.
- First hearing that release on a rig.
- Travelling to multiple countries around Europe, being paid to play at parties (Bratislava & Copenhagen being the favourites).
- Playing FWD>> when it was good.

Playing your shit to mates and them believing it was by somebody famous, amusing and reassuring your a good producer
singing sunlight by modestep really badly to a mate and then him believing that i was modestep (not a happiest moment but highly funny)
meeting Mala and Kahn at Exodus when I was on the VIP list a month or so ago
being on the vip list for exodus
Getting my tunes played out on Radio 1 picking up skreams early discography very very cheaply :)

I do the opposite. I tell them, this is my tune.

My gf half the time never believes me. I show her the l.e.d. display on the dashboard in the car and tell her 'look that's my name right there' then she tells me that anyone can change the info on a track lol. I have to physically show her the open project on (used to be) my fl studio for her to kinda believe me cuz then she says I could have sample all the parts off another track Smh

Makes me feel good to know I can pass for a good producer but feels like crap to know she doesn't think it can be me. Lol

That's actually really bizarre how much proof she's willing to ignore to hold onto her lack of faith in your production skills

So jealous of you all. Living in a relatively rural part of the mid/south USA, I never get the chance to see people like Mala, Loefah, DMZ, Kromestar, Sukh Knight, Skream, Distance etc.. I drive anywhere from 2-5 hours (5 hours being Dallas TX) for the average show which always happen to be loaded with brosteppers rolling their faces off and the likes.

Nor does anyone I know listen to anything outside of skrillex/nero/bassnectar etc. (not hating just stating)

hearing:
-Eyez VIP
-Roll With The Punches
-All of a Sudden
-Disko Rekah

in my own bedroom.

now i just need to actually go to a show. Too bad people seem to ignore Canada, as if we aren't even here. Mala will have a show in Montreal once in a while.
