Yeah well I payed £110 to stand outside the venue then go sleep in my mate's camper van. Count yourself lucky.

I have a feeling we will get refunded tbh, especially for the Saturday.. tbf, it was pretty difficult to see how they'd not be in this situation.

if the company's in administration might be quite tricky to get anything back. I don't know the in's and out's but normally administration is an alternative to bankrupcy/liquidation and would suggest the company doesnt have sufficient funds to continue running. I imagine that the ticket refunds are probably quite far down the queue on who gets money back first and unfortunately there's probably a disclaimer clause as part of the t+c's of the tickets which covers the company from refunds anyway

Administration is a step on the way to bankrupcy rather than an alternative. The administrators main job is to look at what funds the company
does have (I'm guessing ticket sales minus some artist fees, security and venue hire) and then put all the creditors in order of importance and start paying them what's available. Once the money's all gone you go bankrupt to get out of the rest of the debts.
You're right though... businesses that might also go under if they're not given what they're owed tend to come higher in the list than customers (especially customers that can afford £100 festival tickets)... I did check the T&Cs the other day though because I'm a nerd and this eventuality was actually one of the few they guaranteed a refund for.

Tbf, the bits you were warning about were alright... we saw a tiny bit of glass and a couple of nails, but they were behind a locked door that we were peering through. Someone even took a picture of it actually to post but in all the gloom I think it got forgotten about.
The main issue was disorganisation and overcrowding - the site was the wrong shape and size for the festival they were putting on and they sold waaaayyy too many tickets. Even if the Pleasure Gardens was "ready" it would've still gone tits up.

i've got a picture of the offending nail
the problem was with the organisers and not the site itself which fine really. i don't even know how they could have cleared up broken glass and nails because there were loads of bits of rubble around still

Some useful bits and pieces on here:

They seem to think it may be possible to get your money off Crowdsurge if you bought recently... probably easier than Bloc/Baselogic!

Yep, damn... that was quick...
Nah i expected this. They've basically gotta pay for a festival and pay back all the tickets so they're fucked.

Got to say, as pissed off as I was about the fuck up on Friday I will be gutted if this really is the end for them, the successful Bloc I went to back in 2010 was one of hte best weekends of my life and I would be so happy if they could bounce back and get it running again in Butlins...don't look likely though.

you'd expect this is more an administrative decision as any.
There shouldn't be much preventing a new entity doing the same next year the only question will be reclaiming the confidence of artists and punters. That and whatever other financial fall outs there are from this

couldnt believe it when i heard about all this...
my mates still in italy (why he couldnt go in the end) but im sure as soon as hes back we can link up some refunding. Im sure people will get money back for the tickets, then he can send it along...
Bleugh, tooooo bleak. Glad some people seemed to have at least some degree of enjoyment though! If anyone got to see nicolas jaar start to finish, and the sound was alright, that is easily worth a £50 day ticket to me!
But yeah, honestly you guys...its all about freerotation. Like, all about freerotation...Really dont know what words I can use here to express myself enough. No vibe like it! Not even nearly! Get yourselves an invite for next year...(although not off me, my girlfriend HAS to come next year! Too much love in that place...)
