I got so bored of this sound recently. Really regret to buy Sheworks 004, can't stand any of the tunes anymore. I hate the oversteered bass in these productions.

how do you guys come up with these genre names

A guy from Georgia, who makes grime, suddenly an expert on Chicago and a mostly European and UK house sound, because he found an in-hype Kerri Chandler tune from 2010...

People come up with genres names because IT HELPS people to understand the differentiate between two different sounds under the same umbrella.
Some might be into this sound and in a couple of months they might pop back to see if anyone has posted any new tunes or reference points. What's wrong with that!!!???

The only reason why people seem to have this illusion that naming sub-genres somehow degrades their own scene/sound/genre is because they let it degrade, all by themselves.
I would wager a bet that half of the kids who went onto produce/follow/listen to Future-Garage did so because that sound was ACCESSIBLE, because it got a reputation as the hip, new sound. Without that accessibility they might not ever have found the sound in the first place. Language and debate harnesses musical accessibility, it doesn't hold it back.

If you're really going to hold a grudge against someone as laid back and as forthcoming about life and music in general, as Tiga is, then I seriously worry about why you got into producing electronic music in the first place.

I dont think Tiga is calling this music 'New Jack Techno' He just called his compilation that name as 'A bunch of techno tracks released as a Turbo compilation' doesnt quite sound as good.
