Biggie had the best flow and one of the best story telling abilities.
Big L was just straight amazing, better than big in many ways.
Both were, in many respects, better than Tupac.

When I say Tupac was the most influential i'm not talking about influencing the hip hop industry (although he certainly did, very much so), i'm talking about reaching and inspiring your average Joe. Tupac's abilities lay in being able to get a real message across to the masses, a social commentary that had previously not reached as many people. Sure people had been pushing the same message before, speaking on the ills of society and the plight of black Americans, but, due to his last two albums, the infamous beef and subsequent death that message reached thugs who were unwilling to listen to people kick knowledge and middle-class white teens on the other side of the world alike. Hence, most influential.

Greatest rapper =/= beast at rapping. Ya feel me?

any time i hear tupac i just get annoyed, its his voice, and the fact he has that exact same meter/flow in every track ive ever heard

That's absolutely fair. I can't stand Jay-Z for similar reasons.

I know it's all opinions but his flow is very different when comparing tracks from before and after his prison stint. Even then, I can think of a few different styles of flow he had on the two albums after he came out.... You're younger though, ay? Maybe (and this is a real problem when talking about Tupac) you have just been subjected to the tracks he had no control over that came out after his death (?). A lot of his posthumous releases only served to water down his previous output because they were templates/throw-aways for tracks/albums he already put out. That's why a lot of his stuff now sounds the same.

also i must say im very much influenced by the production b/c i hate pretty much all of it

ive listened to 2 albums & only track i like is old school
