This weekend I have Saturday all to myself so the time will be divided;

Breakfast
Morning - Flip some of the samples I was sent last week
Lunch - go for a run somewhere
Afternoon - work on some warehouse style techno as have heard a lot of good stuff this week and feeling suitably inspired
Dinner
Evening - Work on a hip hop style beat I've been mulling over (may be dependant on good samples from the morning)
Night - watch a couple of DVDs from my collection and sit with my pad to make a note of timecodes for any samples I want to grab.

I seem to be getting loud white noise mostly, is there a specific setting in the encoding options that works better then others?

If there is, I don't know of it. It's mostly trial and error, a lot of what gets generated is garbage.

- Watch the clock move pathetically slowly towards 9pm, which is when I finish work.

- Break the sound barrier driving home.

- Pick up GF

- Load up Reason, stare at it's rack, stare at my GF's rack, decide which one I wish to play with first. :h:

Life is good.

I'm playing with importing raw samples into Sunvox, mp3s become fantastic noise!
