Could be interesting, I wonder why him and not Skream though -q-
this, i would imagine it's all a marketing plug to lead up to his new album and push him headfirst into the charts, Skream has at least kept his roots if stringently with a Medi release, the Skreamizm nights and some tunes like Vacilitate that do go mad when they're dropped, Benga has basically cut all ties and his tunes are barely recognisable. It's a shame, Diary of an afro warrior is the first dubstep album i ever got and without a doubt my favourite, i remember pausing his masterclass videos to copy his albino settings lol
You're right, almost every producer changes his style, its just a matter of time

Having said that sometimes the change is good, listening to some of some peoples (eg Joker and Benga) first tunes they werent really up to scracth with the stuff they produced when they wer at their best. Benga (i think) even said "the first ones were... shady"

but most of the time it all just goes down the pan, coki especially :Q:
Coki?

He had a few decent releases in 2012

I havent been keeping up with much of the new Coki (becuase I didnt like it), but imo the likes of Goblin and Horrid Henry were nothing to stuff like Night and Officer
