Basically mayo with some mustard in. Few other slight variations too.


Salad Cream
2 free-range eggs, hard-boiled, yolks only

2 tbsp English mustard

½ lemon, juice only

1 tbsp caster sugar

3 tbsp white wine vinegar

150ml/5fl oz double cream

150ml/5fl oz olive oil

salt and ground white pepper


Mayo
290ml/½ pint groundnut oil

2 eggs, yolks only

1 garlic clove, crushed

1 heaped tsp powdered mustard

1 level tsp salt

freshly milled black pepper

1 tsp white wine vinegar

Yeah this is true, but thats a VERY basic way of showing the difference to this anti-salad cream heathens
