he looks awfully bored when he's playing out , I would think he's not really happy about where he is (careerwise , creatively or in life, who knows) and thus gradually attempts to turn out more commercial productions just to make something out of the name he built. I have no clue about what he's thinking but to me it seems he doesn't really care for what he's doing.
