What's 'having money' though? I mean I can buy a car, but I'm sure as hell not going to you know.
Gotta think about what your rent might be in a year or two compared to now.

Wait what? So you deserve to have fancy shit just because you hold yourself in the highest fucking regard.

My advice would be:

1. Quit thinking anyone owes you shit. They don't.
2. You're not fucking special. No one is. Just because you think you're awesome doesn't mean you get to have awesome stuff for free.
3. The world is unfair. Some kids have rich parents. If you don't it doesn't mean you "deserve" the same shit those kids do.
4. If you ever want to end up with a mortgage you've got to have a decent credit rating. They probably won't hunt you down over 200 pounds but they'll definitely drag your credit into the ground as much as they can.
5. Yes it is fair to pay it back. You used Wonga's cash to purchase something you want.

Fortunately, you're the exact type of waste that "the top 1%" love. Keep consuming to keep up with everyone else, you're doing a great job stimulating the economy my friend. Just don't fucking complain when you can't get yourself a mortgage and then complain that the "1% are getting way more than they deserve."

I work my ass off to get what I have. I'm expecting that in the future I'll be well off, but I'm working my ass off to make sure it happens. . Unfortunately there's SOBs like yourself who feel they deserve the lifestyle that everyone else works towards just because you have an overinflated sense of self.

Anyways, hope that wasn't too harsh. Do what you please, but I'd recommend you start acting like an adult if you actually want to end up anywhere in life.

I really didn't mean it to come out that way. :dunce:

What I was trying to say was even if you luck out and achieve some serious earning potential, our generation will struggle to attain any sort of wealth, let alone ever become 'rich' - and handicapping ourselves with unnecessary debt (especially defaulted debts) will make it almost impossible for us to save a nest egg, buy a house or in most cases even create a realistic pension.

I seriously doubt I'll earn anything like this forever (maybe a couple of years at the most before I'm back to sensible salaries), but it's been shocking to find out that despite suddenly pulling double the salary I'd got used to, there's still not a bank manager in the country that'd even countenance giving me a mortgage - I have no debt anymore, but I've been a bit of a dick in the past (never defaulted, but forgot the odd payment due to being wasted for entire summers and made interest-only payments FAR too often)... I couldn't even get a rental without my Dad going guarantor.

In order to buy property, you've got to either be legitimately rich, live in a town with no jobs or live on the outskirts of a major city in the soulless commuter belts. High rents, driven by buy-to-let, pretty much exclude anyone who's not got a rich Mummy and Daddy or isn't a wildly successful entrepreneur from saving a deposit and getting on the investment ladder and as a result we're generation split into professional investors who'll barely need to do anything but "service their portfolio" and perpetual renters who'll graft until the day we drop to keep the investors in Golf Club memberships - it'd be worth Agent keeping in mind that no matter how young and untouchable he feels right now, our financial indiscretions come back to bite us all.

tl;dr Flip crack young or make sure you've got comfy work shoes because you're going to be in them until your 80.

If you get a loan somewhere and don't pay it back, they will come get it.. Unless it's different in the UK
I got a fine from the NS for not having a train ticket years ago, they sent me some letters but I never bothered paying, it's been about two years since I last heard from them now
