if you go on his feedback page he gets like 10 or something per month, which is fuck all considering he has 40000 records for sale with tons of new listings every week

that's an irrelevant thing to say, even if let's say 50 people a month bought from him that would still be minuscule in comparison to the number of records he is holding

yeah but i very much doubt he's selling records for £55 and over in his physical shop, that's not what we're talking about here and for people who don't live in nottingham that means nothing... I don't really see how people in this thread are defending this guy it's such an underhand thing to do to the scene, no matter if it's a choice to buy from him or not

Nobody supports him but at this point what can you do? As long as there are people willing to buy records for several times their retail price people like him will exist, it's been going on for decades and Discogs and ebay have only just made it more visible.

I just see it as a necessary evil, when you don't have the expensive record it's annoying but when you do, there's an added sense of pride in the quality and rarity of your collection, whether the record is really worth the online price or not
