Threads like this make me glad I switched to digital. I only have to worry about the vinyl only stuff selling out now... and a lot of that isn't even very good

yeah but i very much doubt he's selling records for £55 and over in his physical shop, that's not what we're talking about here and for people who don't live in nottingham that means nothing... I don't really see how people in this thread are defending this guy it's such an underhand thing to do to the scene, no matter if it's a choice to buy from him or not

The guy's just a bad internet salesman, not sure what you want people to do? This thread isn't gonna stop him, the only thing that would stop him is people not buying from him, which you guys imply nobody does anyway, so what does it matter?

nah i'm not gonna try and stop him because I know that i can't, just annoys me that he almost seems to be getting support in this forum lol

Nobody supports him but at this point what can you do? As long as there are people willing to buy records for several times their retail price people like him will exist, it's been going on for decades and Discogs and ebay have only just made it more visible.

I just see it as a necessary evil, when you don't have the expensive record it's annoying but when you do, there's an added sense of pride in the quality and rarity of your collection, whether the record is really worth the online price or not
