I think it would be cool if you made a "post your deepest thoughts" thread with that definition in mind.
Feel free to start one, be interesting to see what different folk around here consider deep thoughts.

Oh and much like Parson I love Robert Anton Wilson for fiction and his psychology musing (If you haven't read the Illuminatus! trilogy please do so). House of Leaves is a book I've also been partial to analyzing since my teen years to the point of having 2 copies I annotate in the margins, 1 pure and The Whalstoe Letters.

why is it when were talking about deep thinking people gotta post youtube vids.
think for yourself perhaps?
wheres my response. noone carried on enquiring. thoughts and feelings are linked/one and the same thing... continue
edit. fuck it! if you cant understand that thought is more than your inner monologue narrative and the amount of times you can go "WOOOW" with how many stars you imagine, then thats on you. but I am the moment, when I am that moment. no thought occupies me apart from the moment. I am thinking as many functions as is happening the wind in my stomach. the rain on my heart. all the links, not just the ones I generalised with silly words. thats a talky thought. thats a thinky-wordy thought. basically you are a THOUGHT thinking itself. so maybe stop reflecting on the you as a me and drink in what realitys trynna tell you instead of trusting hearsay from someone whos going to know less about how YOU can deep think than YOU.
