Emalkay - Bats In The Belfry i think...

fucking blew my mind and got me interested to check out the other things that were going on around the genre... agreed that going to an actual night with a massive system seals the deal

Something by Vex'd off a mix- I thought it was like a nastier version of grime. I wanted to hear Skepta over it.

Then it was Request Line, Anti War Dub and Ancient Memories RMX.

Kode 9 at Detonation in Nottingham and the Loe RMX of I sunk the fangs in.

loefah - root at tribe records in leeds

went to the first leeds dmz when they did the back room at transmission and the track that really grabbed me was blipstream, which skream pulled back about four times... sick track, sick night!!

Old Skream dub from around 04 or early 05

I think i either heard nine samurai - kode9 or check it - skream on my local student radio..then it was all on when i started looking for shit in a record store...before that i was heavy into grime so i was listening to a bit of Mrk1 production with the virus syndicate which could be a bit of dubstep i spose.

First dubstep...

Skream "Irie", then Benga "Flame"

Heard them both wandering around Sounds of the Universe one day only a few months ago...knocked my ears clean off!
