Within reason, yes. You don't get many people just standing around on a 'regular' dance floor. People generally know where to stand. It's an unspoken social behaviour rule. People generally stand around the perimeter, unless they're desperately trying to be a pain in the arse and insist on standing in the middle of the dancefloor. There needs to be more dancing/skanking call it what you will of all kinds at dubstep raves imo. Express yer love for the music!
I ain't really into moshing myself, but sometimes the music just takes ya and the hard skank becomes a bounce around for a bit. As long as you try not to annoy others and apologise if ya do, whats the problem?

Though what anyone might do at a dubstep rave could possibly be misconceived to be like 'moshing' it most definitely is NOT the same thing, AT ALL.
Nothing wrong with brocking out and enjoying the music, as we all should know its about expressing yourself. As long as what you're doing doesn't disrupt other people.. no problem.

I don't see the problem as long as people maintain the traditional "mosh" ethics, like apologising to folks who get knocked down and helping people up/making sure they're cool.

I witnessed moshin at Pinch last friday nite. But it was mostly from drunken randoms who had no idea what dubstep was.
