weren't you playing at converge lolChemist wrote:For me, best sets of the night were Kode9 & Silkie - varied between the hype and the deeper stuff. Kode9 played everything from thuggish ruggish to quarta330 remix of 9samurai, and closed with Archangel so that was pretty special.
Hatch and Yunx played loads of dark garage vibes which also went off, Hatch played that old Loefah tune Jungle Infiltrator haha, never thought I'd hear that out. Youngsta played sooo many old Skream/Benga bits, some of which I recognised and many I didn't - If anyone knows the wobbly roller that Yunx wheeled pls let me know, it was a biggie.
Chefal & Plastician both duppied it too.
Loefah's set was sick but he just played all of his own tunes as usual, did this mad blend of Root into Woman.
Coki was not good, as expected.
Skream & Benga was quite jokes if you like tearout but by the end had descended predictably into stuff that was a bit much for me (Still, did get Benga - Stop Watching into Skream - Levitated which was >>>>>>)
(I missed Pinch & Distance but apparently they were really good)
Heard Benga - Blood as well so all in all pretty sick night.
