vadim wrote:nice, very nice, unfortunately i couldnt stay til the end. way better than the openair grime night in summer (that one was shitty imho). big up and congrats to the org & dj's. nice tunes all the time i stayed, and people getting into it
some things though:
the location wasnt the best pick for this music, specially since there is some serious sound level issues with the neighbourhood. i know its not easy to get a decent place in brussels, even more with a big (correct would be a good start) soundsystem, but hearing those tunes at the half of what they're played at dmz is a bit frustrating when you experienced dubstep at 3rd base. dont misunderstanding me, i surely wont make any grief to you, and you dealt the best way you could and respect for that!
n.b maybe recyclart (although i know its very difficult to get) would have been more suitable?
and no strong alcohol aswell, only beer. might be a detail if at least smoking was allowed inside... how can i skank without my skunk?
nevermind, im just an old grumpy men
thanx for making it happen.
yes that no smoking thing was horrible , felt like i was back in school again being carefull not being caught ,but hey i smoked ma weed all nite so...

lucky you, the bouncer was all the time looking & coming at me each time he was in the room, busting my balls. so i got fed up and started going at the balcony but it was too crowded, so i gave up.

What a heavy nite!!! I've never seen so many people at a dubstep party - completely sold out with 400 heads inside. Massive respects to Bunzer0 for putting on such a wicked event, and also Dirk @ Beursschouwberg for being a top bloke.
Really impressed with the local DJs - Kaliba vs Marselus Wallace played a wicked grimy set, and their own tunes were fucking heavy, definitely some new talent to watch for.
Skream & Yunx were both spot on, the crowd took a while to figure out how to dance, but when they had that sorted there was no stopping them. Bigup to Task - his first show in front of a live audience apparently and he was bang on.
Anyways, nice to meet some of you guys, I really enjoyed coming out to play and I look forward to my next visit.

If only I had made a reservation...
What I saw was ace, but I really got in too late. Very impressed though that so many people turned up. Never thought there would be so much interest for a dubstep night. Let's hope the massive response leads to a next dubstep night here in Brussels.

Yeah, wicked location, but on that night it was a bit too much mc and too little music imho.
It's in the park just in front of our Royal Palace

Thanks, once Bunzer0 has had time to make a MP3 of the set I'll have a listen to it and sort out the tracklist - hopefully the mix was good enough to put online. There was a lot of stuff by Toasty, some Boxcutter, Shackleton, Vex'd, Scuba, Pinch, Cogent, Luke Envoy, Elemental.
I wouldn't normally play all stuff quite as hard as I did @ Beurs, but I had to play after Skream & Youngsta so I had to draw for big guns.
Nice pics btw, I presume you were the lovely lady with the camera.

i am rippin all the sets for the moment.
Unfortunately recordings are not really clean... Because of the old DAT tapes i used ? Because of the Beurs recorder ? I dunno, but digital pops and scratches are here and there...
And it is not only because of some crap Skream's dubplates ;p
So when everythin is ripped, i will sent the stuff to the dj's and they gonna decide if we will put the stuff online.

Naaah, that's my girly, I was the one who asked you 'bout Pinch.
And I don't think anyone minded you pulling out the big guns, everyone there was just amazed by your set!
