Thanks all =)

7hr outing in the freezing cold, had monstrous wind blowing in my face. Some were a bit blurry but the end result was alright.

Anywho if anyone else is interested in celestial photography or anything, wants to learn etc. don't be shy to get in touch.

Lace, I've been meaning to ask you, and since you mentioned it, hehe, your bad, uh, what would be a good entry level telescope that I could actually see something with? Something that would inspire a little awe in my daughter?

That supermoon is what caused the Japanese Earthquake, and the subsequent earthquake a month later (no co-incidence). Beautiful but deadly.

Lovely!
I'd certainly recommend these..

Celestron AZ 70 Refractor
We had these at the Planetarium I used to work at for the kids. Celestron is by far my favorite manufacturer.. these in particular have great range, top quality optics, there's barely any set up, and it's not that expensive..$100.00ish

Meade NG-70SM 70MM Refractor
I started off with something like this. It's only about 50 dollars or something but you'd never know. Well built, lightweight if you want to carry it around unlike the AZ 70, easy set up as well.

Best things about these are that they are refractor telescopes, which means they take in less light, so if you live in an area with a lot of light pollution, it shouldn't really be a problem.

Last but not least:
Celestron Firstscope

I have this telescope at home as well, my fiancé has a little girl and I've taught her to use this one rather easily. It's very basic, no set up really, very kid friendly. There's nothing to mount it to, you basically place it somewhere and take a look. Still good quality, and really inexpensive..
Looks something like this:

Hope that helps somewhat =)
