hah no it was the recently formed two-girl drums-and-guitar-and-amazing-vocals group Plug. they rocked, as did everyone else i might add, all the bands and djs.

tonight we went and got interviewed at bbc radio five live about our book, and beforehand we were in a pub in shepherd's bush, and who was there but MICK SODDING JONES?!?! from the clash. having a quiet pint on his own. we went and gently accosted him and gave him a copy of the book (he seemed to really like it) and chatted about the election for a while.. he thinks the republicans want obama as the candidate just so they can screw him, that they've been putting pastor wright up to his inflammatory statements and so on...

the point is, i just talked politics with the clash.. i am made up :)
