My first night an all. Daz was rather wasted/hyped if i remember rightly. That system was stupid in there. Would love to have seen that as a regular spot for Heavyweight Rocksteady.

I was off my face at that one lol, even worse at the Benny Ill one the month or so before
First thing I saw in notts was kode at the massive detonate with spaceape... literally about twenty people downstairs in stealth, it's funny seeing how big that room is now at Detonate

I think it's a bit inaccurate to say there was 20 people at any of Heavyweight Rocksteady's - those nights were large! There was a really good amount of people there. Never any attitude and a really mixed crowd. Those nights are by far my fave memories of the early days. Futureproof is about the closest you can get to those heady days.
No one called each other bruv at any of the parties in Notts in those days.
When were those parties btw? Were they 2006?

notts is bad,

theres a few samey nights about that just follow the same old big name djs but theres a deeper scene emerging. congrats to futureproofpromoters for pushing a good sound and got to big up spam chop for his wigflex moves and there was loads of unreleased stuff on Geiom n early birds show last week from notts producers things are looking good..
shame about the negative media coverage ay
