poor skills, we'll have a practice session tonight

it's 'hajimemashite'

pronounced 'ha-jee-meh-ma-shte' (not technical phonetics but that's how it sounds)

latest one is...excuse my poor translation...

"Demo sunduna kunki ne, Demo sunduna kunki ne, Demo sunduna kunki ne, hai O-papi" really bad attempt to spell it!

this means "I don't care, I don't care, I don't care...Ocean Pacific Peace" which I have no idea still what it means even though my girlfriend translated it for me!!! It's accompanied by a 'pumping air into a tyre' dance. Very popular amongst the kool kids!

can't find a youtube on this dude...but he wears nothing but gold speedos
aaah, that vid helps a lot, was fuckin jokes btw, i love it when nikkosan goes "san man en [in girly voice]....san man en [girly voice] kaishteyo [man's voice]"

right, so i get the 'd-ondake!' but now am faced with the even more challenging phenomenom of 'demo sunduna kunki', research is required methinks.

ok, after i bit of research i have got to the bottom of this one.

it's actually, 'demo sonna no kankene', which directly translates as 'that kinda thing has no connection' which as you said, is a funny sounding way to say 'i don't care'.

The l's and r's thing isn't so bad once you get used to it. The soft f/h sound still throws me though.

Doesn't help that my name has an f, an r, and an l in it... :?
