Lee 'scratch' perry was a bit of a disappointment when i saw him at womad if you ask me, all of his songs sounded samey. and he is out of his fucking mind. he had this giant metal hat thing, and he poured a bottle of water over his head.

kept mumbling stuff about skunk and jah.

i have a friend going to bestival and i don't even think she knows what dubstep is. god she is missing out.

question for people who've been before - what time do the dj's usually go on til? ie, would you expect Mala, Loe, Kode9 etc to be playing at night, or will it be the slightly annoying daytime set you tend to get at glastonbury...

wooo so excited about this, need to get fancy dress sorted out.

dj times last year were all over the place, i think kode9 played late afternoon and so did mala.

im sure andy c was set to go on at 3am or something, don't think he played though.

theres so many more this year, hopefully at least a few will be at night.

working at bestival. 4 6 hour shifts which is about 130 quidsworth of work on a cheap wage. I don't really mind as i want to check out the atmosphere. as long a they don't make me work during aphex twin.
