It was heavy, I'm definitely reaching regularly. only caught Benny Ill's last record but Oris played a great one, especially the early 2step stuff, "Hotboys" and Wookie's "Far East."
Hatcha smashed it with early classics like Loefah's "Jungle," Artwork's "Red" mixed out of his VIP of Ms Dynamite's "Ramp". But the Wookie mix of "Sincere" was too much!
Slimzee was dropping his own VIPs of Pay As U Go "Terrible" when I had to leave for Fabric. Anyone else see Youngsta or Kode9?

It wasn't as busy as I expected it to be, but was hardly empty either. I'm guessing Fabric hoovered up a lot of potential attendees. Anyway, it was nice having room to move to be honest.
Got in there earrrly and saw Benny Ill play a wicked little set- that Groove Chronicles tune ''We can get down baby'' vocal BLUP. Oris also sick, I remember ''Buddah Finger'' and there was plenty of other classics...
HATCHA- fucking sick set, I love old dubstep so much. Just pure bass and drums and weird noises, so rhythmically varied and inventive. I don't want to get on the old 'old vs. new' thing but really... lol. First twenty minutes or so was dark as fuck, then went into the garage - Ramp, Sincere RMX(!) etc. Top drawer...
Slimzee- loved it, was bouncing around like a dickhead for the whole set. I was expecting a load of MCs to turn up so was a bit dissappointed that didn't happen, but Crazy held it down nicely. Was all about that 'Go DJ' tune, disgusting...
Youngsta was pretty great too, very grimey stuff mixed like a demon as usual. Was good to see D Double as well, especially as for once I could hear what he was saying (i.e. the mic was loud enough)...
Really really pissed off that I was persuaded to leave early and so missed Kode doing a garage set

x1000. That would have been icing on the cake, was an ideal night musically.
Big up Rusty, Grand and Benji...
Wish I could make FWD sundays a regular thing, maybe I should take Benjis advice and just move to london lol

fantastic night and the old Thursday vibes definitely seemed to be back...
Oris got the dancefloor bouncy with some wicked 2 steppy/breaky tunes, brought back some great memories, big up mate!
Hatcha & Youngster played absolute blinding sets, selection and mixing big as always...
Great to hear Slimzee smashing up the dance again, was also a little surprised by the lack of grime MC's for his set but his selection was sic...
Kode 9 garage set was pure class, a lot tunes i've not heard for time...
Overall the vibes inside were great, it was busy enough but not massively packed so it was nice to have some space to dance again...
Big up all Fwd crew, will deffo be reaching a bit more regular again!!

Very very big night! Had loads of fun.
Perfect level of busy-ness and quality sets from all. Hatcha fucking destroyed it though! Easily the best set I seen him play - every tune had me going nuts!
Gutted we jetted to Fabric before Kode's set.
If this is the shape of things to come I'll definately be a FWD regular from now on.
Big up the Plastic People bar for swollowing all my money.
Big up Rusty's shorts.

didn't know u were there bruv.. would have brought those records!
i have to say this was in my top 3 FWDs ever... every single set was pure FIRE!
Hatcha's selection was unbelievable.. so many dubs.. anyone know that crazy weird tune he played about 6 tracks in?? he mixed it into an old horsepower tune i think...
then slimzee dropping eskimo and wickedest ting!!! badman. and i keep forgetting how big he is.. for those of you who've never seen him i can confirm that he is actually 7' 6".. wide.
seeing d double touch mic during youngsta's set was a nice surprise.. hold tight tubby blatantly smoking massive spliffs behind the deck and hold tight d double's girl skanking out VERY hard in the booth!
then Kode9 came in for a cheeky un-billed 2-step classics set..
too many massive tunes dropped on the night.. I came away convinced that Menta - Ramp and Sticky - Dollar Sign are officially the greatest tunes ever made.
out to Grand writing his essay.. out to benny ill's haircut.. out to corpsey doing some quality pogoing during slimzee's set.. out to the lower-end spasm gang. and finally, out to my girlfriend for having a wicked time and properly loving the music! our first dubstep night was always gonna be a deal-breaker and i think it's fair to say she passed with flying colours.
(big up sarah and FWD)
