Good night. I'm pretty sure I've never seen that good of a girl/boy ratio on a dubstep night, and most of them were lovely as well :U:

very true. Looekd round when lights came up and there was enough girls around. No one too messy either.

I only got there at 10.30 about, but what I saw of Geiom was very good- real nice mixing and selection- lots of new tracks from the sound of it, all his best bits, and a couple of classics (more than a woman bump n flex mix! respect for dropping that :):D). Anyone know what the last reminissin version was? Last track- real different one, with alienated vocals- wierd and wonky.

Appleblim's set was one of the most ecclectic sets i've ever heard and all that I had hoped for- mixing dubstep with UKG with 2step with funky with minimal techno with a little bit of jungle right at the end. In the recent Blackdown interview, I remember soulja saying to him something along the lines of play what you want to play when he first played fwd, and it pays off for the crowd, when his box is obviously the deepest around. Bow humbly to you. Loved the garage and 2step with wookie tracks and Neighbourhood :D:D

Track of the night got to be Lenny Fontana- Spirit of the Sun Gurley edit- went OFF, instant wheelback. More old skool at fwd :)

Good sets, good vibes, good night.

Thanks to all!

When I arrived, safe to Dan dropping that Sahko-sounding ting (wot is on Hawtin's DE9 | Transitions -- perhaps a mashy thing rather than a stark original). Bleepy business on PP system ftw.

More Greena tunes next time, please. :-)

Respect to fiver entry.

--edit:

Standardly appleblim, if you can ID any of the stuff you played towards the end, housey tracks, would be much appreciated. Safe!

Loadsa colourful sound last night

Greena's set was rich man... great to hear Easy Lee at the beggining. Transition from minimal to wonkier stuff was swish.

Great to hear some of the new new Geoim bits too.

Out to Apple for dropping Final Frontier - love that UR baby!

Brackles' Glazed sounded bad... but what I really wanted to hear Apple drop was FRUITY.

Crowd was good I thought... just the right density for some Sunday bubbles.

Excellent night last night. Purely good vibes in the place. Great to see so many people still up for a good Skank on a Sunday. Not a munter or gurner in sight neither. Not one person stepped on my trainers :D

Geiom absolutely ripped up the dancefloor, an eclectic set with plenty of tempo changes to keep the legs moving. Truly tested the soundsystem to it's limits last night.

Appleblim played a nice varied set an all, great to hear all those Garage classics again
As with Greena who certainly didn't fuck about getting straight in with some filth from early doors. Especially enjoyed that last tune.

For once since the smoking ban i didn't notice a single fart or sweaty armpit. Some pleasant aromas inside the dance for a change. :4:

My only gripe about last night was what happened to the album launch??
I was hoping to pick up a copy of Dubstep Allstars.

My first FWD sunday last night and I was glad I reached. Only heard Appleblim but he played the sickest Peverelist bit (thanks for the ID, Martin).

Wicked night. Nice to hear that Waterfalls remix on a system. The little El-B thing Appleblim played before the neighbourhood rmx was deep as well...don't know what it was, just that it was El-B!

Great night.

Got there early. Really enjoyed Greena's set, played some serious stuff and good to hear some Drexciya!

Geiom's set was firing! Everytime I've seen him the sound's not been up to much, but the system in PP really did his beats justice. If I wasn't so fragile after Brainfeeder I would of been throwing some serious shapes (and that is saying a lot as usually it's strictly the headnod for me).

Appleblim played some serious stuff (what was that tune with the never ending arpeggiating lead sound?), but unfortunately I was feeling the pain abit too much so spent most of his set sat down at the back stroking my chin and admiring the scenery

Out to Frodo, Ikonika, Optimum, Contakt, Powerpill, Braiden and anybody I've forgot.
19th October - Jahtari Presents Tapes EP Launch Party @ Gramaphone, London w/ Tapes, Clause Four & International Observer.
23rd October - Galway, Ireland.
31st October - UFO @ Dojo, Bristol w/ Dema.

Unless you mean the old Red Planet track 'Farenheit 303' (which is like acid electro not dubstep)....

big up the organisers and all the crowd on Sunday - it was proper vibes in there

appleblim played a housey track with the vocal "things change" in it.

Any idea what that was?

Cheers.
