pretty much all the money I have. Between cutting dubstep dubs, buying dubstep 12"s, reggae/dancehall 7"s, and the odd discogs ragga/hardcore classics binge, about $300-500 CDN/month on cutting dubs
about the same on vinyl too.

well, i only decided to start buying vinyl and learning to DJ dubstep about 6 weeks ago. since then, i've spent over $1000, with hundreds more planned before year end. mostly, i'm buying up older releases until i feel caught up. after that, i hope to only spend about $100-200/month. i've spent a bit more than "retail" on a few that were sold out as well. i just don't think i'm willing to spend $100 for DMZ007, or $150 for DMZ001 or 002, especially since i don't even know what those sound like. at most, i'd spend $30-50 on a sold out record depending on what it was. besides, Mala would probably repress 007 right after i bought it for $100. =p

grab some mixes with the old schools you're interested in and listen to them that way first

or

juno.co.uk find a release and click on the label link to bring up all their releases. then find the drop down menu next to 'show out of stock items' and select yes. you'll find stuff (with audio samples) that was sold out years and years ago like that. it's a good way to catch a listen to some rare tracks

In or around 250 euro a month

65% dnb

20% dubstep

15% hip hop / idm / techno

get a nice discount at my local shop in return for helping with their dnb orders as well as getting first pick of the stock, which is nice
