Yah never know, there may be trees down in my hood at the least, power lines too. I will be involved in some search and rescue no doubt. Hopefully things just blow through fast and we can get back to selling records right ? I've got some new joints to drop at the club and I dont need no stinking storm or flood getting in the way damnit. Hopefully the studio in Slidell makes it w/ out flooding thats where the lathes are. I was planning on cutting some new Jah Billah tunes damnit !! oh well, next month maybe.

I just scared off a looter ! I went outside and look next door and there's this guy standing there with a crowbar ! No shit ! I yelled at him ! I said HEY WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING ? He looked at me all suprised, jumped over the rail and steps and ran off ! Its started ! The Cops rode by earlier and said there was a 3 pm cerfiew ! that was and hour ago.

I'm about to spray paint a sign for the front of my house that will say

" LOOTERS WILL BE SHOT "

I have every right to stay and protect whats mine. I am free to stay and will be hooking up with emergency first responders after this thing blows through. If things get realy bad, I can just get in the boat and float out of here. I don't do what the crowd does. I will not sit for days in some car then have to sit for weeks in some hotel room or random shelter on some cot with thousands of other people. No way. At least here I can be safe inside w/ a generator and kick back in peace till it blows over then we'll see what has to be done next.

I appreciate all of your concern but you don't realize how many resources I have. Everythings going to be fine. Even if the city gets completly flattened, I will be ok to crawl out into the sun to clear the debris and start to rebuild.

its a cat 2 and is heading west. I am still online and have full power. No worries. The lower parishes are in worse danger than metro new orleans.
