dubstepz wrote: I have a direct question to you DZA...a test to justify your attitude
1.How many DB do you compress the bass by?
2. What ratio do you tend to use?
3. Where do you high pass the kick?
4.How do you prevent the mid frequencies of the bass conflicting with the pad's and lead?
5. What is your favorite distortion plug in?
6. What effect's to you like to use as well as distortion? Any why?
7. What do you find the best quantize swing setting is in Logic/ your sequencer for hat's?
8. What do you have on your master bus and in what order?
9. How do you give the bass and kick their own space?
10. When you EQ, do you put level's up or take unwanted area's down?

DZA EXPOSED.
FSTZ... Guru is siiiick. I love the way you can easily and graphically change the envelopes on samples and the inbuilt effect section that you can assign to individual area's.. they have some nice MPC swing setting's and sick 808 and 909 samples.
So you manually change setting's on your hardware instead of using CC or in the box processing for acuracy?
Gives it a more human feel I spose.
Out of interest... what synth's do you have?
(feeling your work)
Thanks

Bassline VST 2.1. does great wobbles using the default preset. Check on the H2O and Air websites for a free download ---> http;//www.crackedsoftware.comDROKKR wrote:Does it make good wobbles?
Also, check in the bakery aisle of Tesco's for jelly, next to the custard mix and 100's 'n' 1000's. Fantastic wobbles at credit crunch beating prices! Every little helps!! ---> http://www.tesco.com/
