not that I think I have any chance of winning... but wouldn't it be nifty to get someone to sponsor some VST licenses or something for the winner? That might attract a bit of attention to the comp.

I'm thinking I'd love something from ohm or sugar bytes :D

question, can we create a sample from these samples? eg I've got a few effects on a sample used which creates what I need but with clips, so I need to bounce to audio and clean it up, creating a another sample, can I do that?

I hope so cos I've resampled the samples myself!

I thought you could do what you wanted to em as long as you only use the samples that come in the pack? I may be wrong, in which case my entry might not be valid! Oh noes!

Yes. The point is making your track from the original samples, how to process them is up to you.

:(

not fair, U.S. producers have -1 day to work on it since the deadline falls on Thanksgiving. Or does everyone celebrate Turkey Day too? Didn't think so. It's a fairly big holiday.

You mean that it is a holiday and you have more time to work on the track? :?

no, it means spending time with friends and family and eating lots of food. driving out of town to aunt's and uncle's houses, etc. so basically no free time. Just got back a couple hours ago, at 2-3am.
