just listened back to this for the first time in a while actually, amazing tune, kind of one you listen to and you start wishing it'll never end.
Yes Dubluke, I was gonna mention that as no one else had. Still available for free download too:
http://www.gazzinho.com/files/free_host ... ow_Rmx.mp3 (cheers gazzinho)
So instead, I submit...
Gatekeeper - Let Go (Punch Drunk)
...to the crying pile.
And if that doesn't get you check "Delight" by Distance on planetMu.

If I want music to make me cry to I don't listen to dubstep. From experience very few dubstep tunes even touch that sort of emotion. A few Burial tunes spring to mind but they're not a patch emotion wise to the likes of BOC et al. Anyways try some BOC or Mrs Jynx for some proper emo (sheesh I hate that term). I'll list some more if ya dig.

I don't think anyone listens to music wanting to make themselves cry, it's just the unexpected power of some tunes to just grab you and drop that feeling on you. Without the range of negative, scary, upsetting and dark emotions we experience it would be impossible to appreciate the warmth and positivity in life - cliched but true. These tracks increase our emotional depth in a world where currently the unfeeling and shallow are rewarded because they don't care enough, and so are able to detach themselves from their own humanity to carry out acts of unspeakable brutality and evil.
I'm not a fan of "emotive music" or anything else that seeks to imprison the mind, but I think all the tunes above represent a sincere attempt at artists getting in touch with their own feelings and not having a preconceived idea about what the outcome will be - even if sometimes it seems undesirable. The fact that they have explained (musically) why it is undesirable is what makes it valid.
Music is pure Willpower in action, and the effects of someone else's Will on other people is sometimes going to be perceived as negatively emotional until that individual can get over themselves and break free of the socially and historically imposed shackles and realise it's actually a good thing to feel shit sometimes. It actually helps you to mature emotionally by realising if something or someone can make you feel bad then you too have the power to make someone else feel that way, along with a responsibility to use that power very carefully.
