I think producers that come from the UK Garage background - they naturally wanna keep it under 140 cuz of the way they shuffle their drums. If you come from DNB, Crunk or Grime, you might have a tendency to wanna make it faster.

Trip-Hop: 70-90
Dubstep: 135-140
