Dope tune.Great production.

But...

*sniff*sniff*sniff*

This whole thread stinks of egotistical self-promotion...

A guy suddenly shows up on the forum(only 4 posts as far as I can see) claiming that a well respected DJ/Producer is stealing his tunes, then turns around and just gives it away???Isn't that he got here in the first place?

I think that if I sent tunes out and this happened to me,I'd be careful not to send out anything at all(until it was fully protected).Especially whatever tune in question. But to also give out the .flp files to a whole forum of people you don't really know???That's kinda askin' for trouble...

Unless that was the plan the whole time:Get your tune out, maybe hope some of the bigger producers here will want to remix your tune(thus the Fruity Zip link),and maybe piss a few people off along the way to make you "The New Badbwoy of Dubstep".

I may be wrong(and pre-emptively apologise if I am),but that's how I am seeing all this. And if,and only if,this is the truth about Rusko, then that is something you two need to work out,not the forum.

I had a problem like this before and came to the DSF for advice on the situation:

http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... ht=dormant

It didn't need four pages about it,because I just wanted to talk to the guy about it.And Seckle had some sage advice to follow up on,just as he does here.Unlike this thread,I didn't want to start any static with the guy and outright call him a cad, because I thought it was a good thing. But permission would be a better thing.

to be fair i think he's mainly concerned that his tune with some 'rusko banton' vocals over it is being played by people other than rusko - he thinks rusko's been giving it out as his own tune

probably just a misunderstanding though isn't it

blimey.

Heres the thing about kiss, look at the tracklistings. They have never been right lol

Caspa played bar 9 midnight a while ago on kiss and it had caspa samples all over it.

Hope this gets resolved.

Look after your dubs!

Unless you have copyright of the tune (as in a dated package of it sitting infront of you, unopened) you can't moan at all..

I wouldn't send my tunes to anyone who I didn't trust with them..

You can't do ANYTHING unless you have a form of copyright what will stand up in court for this tune so .. really you're just giving a producer/DJ a bad name for your own mistake..If you was a serious producer you would of went to court and won behind closed doors instead of trying to ruin someones reputation cause you don't know how to look after your work! Even if this is your tune, I have no sympathy tbh...If you was a professional you would of done it a totally different way instead of pointing the finger and blaming to, well practically the world! I don't care that its rusko cause tbh I am not much of a fan but the man makes a living purely on this reputation, think before you act..

Once you render a tune, it is copyrighted, period. You don't need to walk into a patent office or mail anything to yourself. If you have an HD, that right there, with a file that has been dated and kept in the recoverable data on your HD is enough.

So let me get this straight... you sent Rusko a tune and... he played the tune.

Just checking. :|

plus it kinda sounds like the rape victim is guilty because her skirt was too short, or that if I forget to zip my bag than I have no business complain that somebody stole my wallet.
wtf? lock/delete your comment bro.
but anyways, i guess it's kinda settled now. Seems like not everyone noticed that Rusko already replied on the other thread about this.

and then someone other than Rusko played it and it still had a Rusko banton vocal over the top of it despite not being a Rusko tune

i swear it's incredibly easy to see why this bloke's annoyed?
