unrequested update; decided to leave out the vocals in the end, much nicer as a minimal tune imo

Posted this in dubs section with no replies, some feedback will be much appreciated
Made this tune last night (not quite finished) an just wanted some feedback.
Not sure bout the bass drop at the end coz it effects the other volume levels,
any tips on how to stop this happenin would be great.

Dark Matter: There's a really good atmosphere going on here. i can't comment too much in the production due to listening on budget headphones, but it feels like the track might need to develop a bit more. I think maybe the voice could be processed a little more to make it seem a bit more ghostly. I think it is a little too full/warm and sits over everything else a bit too much.
Demos: got a really cool bounce, especially with the vocals. I think maybe the snares could be a little more snappy, but like i said my headphones aren't great so i might be mishearing it.
will check out some more in a bit. there's some good stuff on here. keep up the good work people

Hey guys new tune on my Virb - The Beep Dub
What do you guys think? I'm still on my "i just finished this" buzz

beep dub- when the beep changes (when the bass first comes in) thats trippy as fuck and i like it a lot
I like the drums as well
I think the bass needs a lower sub personally, and i'm constantly waiting for the bassline to get skatty and sick like the beeps- the one note bassline's not really doin it for me
try putting a hard compression on the beep as well with low attack, not sure it'll work but it made my beeps sound better somehow

smartface: there's some cool ideas in here - I enjoyed it

I do think the bass needs to have a little more high end crunch to it and I agree with stapleface about it being deeper. The snares maybe need a bit more crack behind them as well.

hmm, the dubs forum is definitely getting busy!
almost seems like you have to name your thread "HEAVY TUNE FREE 320 CLICK HERE NOW!!!!!" to get noticed

I'm not picking on the dubs forum, just making an observation.
anyway I do have some new bits, called 'Coco' and 'Grudge'. you can hear them on the myspace (in sig), or on Virb -

seconded. it's not like rusko invented face battering snares.

cheers, just listened to your 'Only when you sleep' track. The bass is sick when it drops at the 3:30 mark, and has some nice sub bass under it. Pretty sick!
