I feel like this style has been around for a long time, it just wasn't called glitch hop. It was experimental hip-hop or something. I have a Dabrye record from 2002 that was this style. There was the Merck label, Jimmy Edgar had some bits, Harmonic 313 (and Harmonic 33), Push Button Objects, etc (loads more).

My tune "Stomping Around The Place" may possibly be categorised as glitch hop.

Push Button Objects.

definitely been around a long while. for example, PBO has been pumpin out 'glitch hop' since at least '99

most 'Triphop' producers from the mid-late 90s all have at least a few tracks that could be lumped into 'glitch hop'

More dubstep with glitch elements than "Glitch Hop" or whatever, but pretty glitchy I would say.

Analog Worms Attack is where glitch hop started, Oizo at his prime.
I try to make glitch hop/dubstep crossover tunes but for some real glitch hop check out lazersword, hudson mohawke, dr strangeloop, ras g, harmonic 313, rustie, mweslee, mofomatronix, hovatron and lunice

I didn't, its 108 hehe, I don't really conform to bpm restrictions hehe! I'm sure its quite possible at 150 is you make it half time, sequencing wise.

i'm more into this kinda stuff myself these days really. huge fan of rustie, hud mo and fly lo buisness. boxcutters 80 - 125 shite is also very very dope. its allready a 50/50 of dubstep and new hip hop in my sets for now
