I really like Fruity's drum-machine approach to making drum patterns, it looks far too fiddly in things like cubase or logic. Like someone else in this thread it was the first thing I used after ReBirth and it made a lot of sense.
Plus the whole pattern system seems to be a far more organised way of making things; my housemate does all his stuff in Nuendo and it looks a fucking mess, I've got no idea how you could know where you are in the tune or where a particular fill or stab or whatever is
I have no idea what words like mixdowns, automation clips, lanes, bouncing or mastering mean though, so maybe it's a case of ignorance being bliss.
