Clouds - Protecting Hands
There aren't that many MCs/vocalists writing especially for Dubstep (like Warrior Queen, Spaceape, Beezy, Werd2Jah). Many of the aforementioned tracks in this thread were produced using acapellas from Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, RnB & Indie. This is great to bring in new crowds from other scenes, but it does nothing for the possibilities to explore and develop the syntax that Dubstep allows. It's more than just 140bpm, Word sound is power...
On the other hand, part of the reason this style has spread so quickly is because many of the best tracks have no vocals, and therefore appealed to a worldwide audience who didn't have to understand english to appreciate the vibe. That said, I'm sure aside from most people learning english as an economic neccesity many others just want to understand the lyrics of all the amazing music produced in the UK and US over the last 50 years.

This is neither time or the place.

Nobody said Phaeleh - Afterglow ?
Re: Best Dubstep tunes with lyrics
i don't really feel dubstep + vocals go well together.
burial/phaeleh are the only ones that really pull it off for me. a few remixes jokers produced are siq aswell
not into mainstream but katy on a mission is proper catchy, i'm sure you would of heard this though

Dunno if it was mentioned but that 12th Planet tune with John Legend sounds really good.

The Bug - Jah War (loefah remix)
Phaeleh - Falling
and not forgetting the Mala remix of "a Town called obsolete"

Re: Best Dubstep tunes with lyrics
Katy B has a wonderful voice. Crossover is probably more of a favorite of mine than Katy On A Mission.

my fav tune with lyrics is Phaeleh feat soundmouse - afterglow, that girl really has a beautiful it stay catchy
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
