You've made dnb for long enough, i know you know what it is!
Well I'd say its usually a square wave with a 'squeltchy' resonant lfo on it playing a pattern that accentuates the feeling of wobbling around. I think what you're doing is confusing lfo with wobble. Or do you think that synthesizers should start replacing lfo with the word 'wobble'?
yeah I think it should be replaced with the word 'wobble', just so that all good producers know to keep the fuck away from it

hahahahahaha i cant believe you said that dude, that's the most ridiculous statement I've seen on this forum. Filters are a crucial part of subtractive synthesis, LFOs on filters equally as important and widely used since the dawn of synthesizers. You're basically writing off the majority of electronic music.
wow you exposed my lack of knowledge on production! but you'd think with all that knowledge you have you'd be able to make a decent tune

Technical knowledge does not guarantee the ability to make good music.

Quite liked the Streets remix in a commercial trance guilty pleasure kind of way, but this is one a travesty.

There's no wobble in this tune - if there was I think Nero would have recieved death threats by now lol!

So you think we should all stay away from wobble then - what about tunes like Mystikz Haunted then? You are full of shit

When people are talking about wobble in this thread I think they are referring to the triplets bass pattern, which is as overused as LFO lines in some parts of dubstep at the moment (and for the past god knows how long).

Haunted was made 4 years ago, not sure why people are still ripping it off tbh.

People are always going to rip off something good, doesn't matter how old it is.

You'd think that when planning a rip off of another tune you'd try to pick one that hasn't been ripped off 1000 times already? But then I guess these wobble/triplet producers don't have much imagination.

and as for haunted, well, i prefer the flip side

don't really get this... how does a remix "ruin" the original tune.

if you wanna listen to the Nero remix cool, if you don't, get the original out and ignore the Nero version. problem solved.

you can sort me out the cash later, yeah?

You should appreciate wobble as you are clearly a fucking retard in suggesting producers shouldn't use LFOs - fuck right off!!

Missing the point here I think Rob... the complaint isn't about using LFOs per se, it's the ubiquitous trend of using a mid range synth line with a simple low pass cutoff LFO on it, over the top of a sub and a half step beat. Or just a triplets synth/sub line with the same sort of beat, as in this remix. It's SUCH a cliche, and it's SO unimaginative. People are more than justified in rallying against it.

Noticed this a lot and yes, it is getting VERY fucking dull and predictable now...to the point that I am sick of a lot of 'Dubstep'.

Don't mind that Nero remix, nothing special but not worth a slating..and I find the oldies kicking off about it quite funny.

lol some intense hating in this thread now, seems to getting out of hand.

I suggest everyone go off and write a haiku, maybe have a sandwich and a cup of tea. (This statement can be as patronizing as you want  )
