You say that as if it could or should deter me in some way.Lui wrote:
(1) Get flamed by all the Brits on this forum to the point where you must be a troll.
There's no disputing any of what I said. Seriously, what about any of what I said is wrong? Were the Winstons not an American band? Was cutting up the Amen break not one of the fundamental aspects of jungle? Is jungle not considered integral to the development of these current styles that we fuck with?
I'm not saying that the US got to where it is on it's own, either, you know. Anyone who flames me for any of this is just a dickhead who can't handle the truth. lpl

You haven't offended me in the slightest. I don't quite see your point, though, why would I have to be well traveled to know where hip-hop came from? You're tripping if you think the hip-hop scenes of other nations aren't basically imitations of the American one. I'm not even saying that to be on some "we run this" bullshit. lolLui wrote:. Sorry to have offended you by pointing it out. I mean, music is so much older than all of our countries combined, we are one big group of culture sharing hairless monkeys.
First of all, I don't even know what DND is and I am by no means implying that the Amen is all there is or was to dnb/jungle. However, the Amen was crucial to both the birth and development of the genre.your whole take on DNB with the 'pilfering of the Amen' so you can somehow feel like you come from the core of DNB is, well, it hurts my brain. My guess is you come from the core of DND, not DnB. Ouch!!!!
I'm not even pissed, just confused at this point. Lol. I mean if you can prove me wrong about the whole urban music thing, by all means, do so. I'm not one of those people that can't accept when they're wrong. No dude, for real, don't get pissed. Its just a forum, even the mean shit is harmless fun. So I called you a troll. Peace homie

Seriously though. This topic is dumb.
How are we comparing the two countries? Which produces / produced the best music? Impossible to say. UK produced bands like the Beatles and Pink Floyd. America produced Hendrix and The Doors. None is better than the other.
My only issues with America is it's retarded government. Who classifies marijuana to be as dangerous as heroin and crack? America. Fuck yeah.
