Is your snare meant to be on the 4th beat? looks like its on the 4th and then the 9thThe Dub Lemon wrote: I know it's got some cool stuff in fl8 piano rool but some of those points are irrelevent, you can vertically zoom into cubase piano roll and make it as big as you like for one. Also the colour is customisable to some extent. Don't get me wrong I know fruity loops has some cool features which no other sequencer has in this department, but I'm very happy with cubases (far nicer than Reason or Ableton).
Also on a side note, cubase introduced a new drum programmer in cubase 5, it's a different animal to fls drum programming stuff but it's more that way inclined and can simplify drum programming...

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

In that pic the snares are on the 5th and 10th 1/16 notes.
That isn't a screen shot of my beat, it's just one I found on google.
The snare can go anywhere you want it to, just so long as it sounds good.

didnt see it was on 1/16ths!
I know the snare can go anywhere. I just thought the beat in the pic would not be a Dubstep beat;)

Re: DUBSTEP ON CUBASE?
I used to use Cubase alot, then i moved onto reason, because cubase was unstable. Albino 3 was nice though.
Anyone who tells you that you cannot make Dubstep on a certain DAW its a twat, and they dont know what they are talking about. Dubstep can be made on garage band if you try hard enough. It'd probly be rubbish, though.
