these are all uses for them which do not require their humanisation. in fact the first two require their dehumanisation and so do some of the most entertaining forms of animal entertainment (dancing bears, circus acts, cock fights etc)

yh on her 80th birthday I got her a card saying happy birthday, now begins the age of austerity. I've already abolished frontline services like her milk delivery and she's yet to cotton onto the fact 'helping her with her shopping' is a covert cost cutting exercise.
