yeman, we've been bought out by a company so i have my job till at least october, they sacked everyone who had disciplinary which is a bit lame and I've been in limbo all week.. long.

thing is though.. the company prides itself on integrity! council, always helping, putting customer first which is a sack of fucking lies. it's my team that all the press has been hating on, "ohhh the accounts team fucked it with their strict payments" FUCK THAT, liars. we wanted to pay people but they wouldn't approve payments because they wanted more money for the end of year figures..

we were all promised that as employers we would find out first about what's happening.. LIES we had to find out through the media.

You might be able to shed some light on thigns for my mate - He started as an apprentice a few years ago and would be a time served plumber with Connaught in 5 weeks time. He got made redundant same as everyone else the other day then found out yous had been bought over - Whats the likelihood he will actually have a job with them after his times been served do you know?

do you know what division he is in? partnerships and 'some' of plc have been saved.

hmm he's either partnerships or cts, i think the majority of all the handy men will be kept on to finish out existing contracts. i'm not too sure as i'm in the accounts department
