Coaches like Laudrup, Bielsa, Klopp, Guardiola, Rodgers that go for possession.

But I tend to go prefer clubs that are politically leaning to the left, like ajax, dortmund, barcelona, villareal, napoli, roma and fiorentina.

I had a soft spot for chelsea back when Vialli, Gullit, Duff and Grønkjær was in the fold.

I thought napoli were non political b ut with right wing ultras
roma are seen as left-wing in contrast to lazio but their ultras are also bare right wing
aren't st pauli the big left wing club

chelsea fans are a load of racists

How are football clubs left or right wing?

St Pauli is basicly only a political club and not so much sport.
There's an actual segment of squatting people and revolutionaries in german football which is awesome. Similar to Brighton maybe.

Napoli is a shit hole, and the mafia is concervative, but it defines itself by being a workingclass (and lower) club that hate milan and the north because of the wage, living and economical difference between them.
The guy that pulled them back up is the son of Dino de Laurentiis who's a infamous hollywood producer, Fellini films, dune etc.
And a communist (I think). But most importantly, Maradonna is a socialist and chose them because of the workingclass aspect of the club.

Roma has both like Milan, who's also in a historical sence, viewed as a communist club despite having the most libertarian/fascist approach back when the tv deals where made in Italy.
It's ac milan who has funded Berlusconis whole deal.
Inter is probably the worst though. They have tanks and pictures of europe painted black and blue on their flags

Ultras are by definition right wing and it would be hard to find a place where it wasn't partly to do with a bit of Adolf Hitlering* and scooping up candidates.
*(silly british forum censorship code).

I've been to Hamburg a few times and there's St Pauli memorabilia everywhere.

Mostly supporters but also the financing aspect, so in that sence it shows on the pitch.
Like you wouldn't get players of Dortmunds technological standard (!) for the same price anywhere else, and without that whole system in place.

I would argue the same deal was applicable to la mesia in Barcelona but the jury is out on that atm.
Safe to say a player like Pedro who was barca b until Pep took him on, wouldn't slip into a squad of that quality anywhere else.
- I'm saying that, just on the basis that wage structure, hierarchy and insurance etc would've been a hindrance. It's left leaning (at least) to rate the education of a player on a similar level to the market determening the worth of a player and in that his role on a team. The team is also owned by the fans and sponsored by unicef.

rock yeah Hamburg is a workingclass city, pretty cool spot imo. Lots of graff.

I'd be surprised if most football fans knew their right hand from their left, let alone pick a political party.

Here we go.. time to get knocked out. Not losing would be a good result. A striker scoring for us would be a miracle.
