I don't think our midfield and defence is better than Arsenal's individually but I think our midfield plays better together as a team, you have to create chances as well as score them. Suarez being in the top 3 players in the world this season has obviously helped enormously.

Arsenal seem to have a lack of heart.

I think winning the league with no strikers was too much even for Maureenho
Its not over until its over mate.

Wasn't it Wenger who said Arsenal could still win the Premier League title before the game where you lost 3-0 to Everton on Sunday

Arsenal hasn't had a proper captain since Tony Adams maybe?

Gerrard in that deeplying role has been pretty good too and Coutinho is straight worldclass in some games.

He's just playing it down like Pelligrini and Rodgers are to take the pressure off the team. I don't we will win the title. I think City will win it.

?

but yeah after Vieira not really had a strong leader.

Wilshere has the best captain potential out of the current lot but i reckon he's fucked his long-term career from being overplayed + consistently injured from a young age

Yeah my point is that what managers say and what they think aren't always the same. Wengers comments were ill advised but that's because they are fucking awful.

The loss at stoke ended any title hopes we had but I think it was obvious well before that

No, he is too much of a tnuc to get respect from team mates or opponents. I'm sorry he just is. He's not overplayed either just very injury prone which is something arsenal as a club has to find another way to deal with.
Think Of RvP, Rosicky, Podolski, Vermailen, Bendtner or others with similar issues - there's definitely something they do very wrong there.

Walcott, Diaby, Gibbs also permanently injured

Arsenals must have the highest injury count of any team Every season. Must either be your training methods or your medical team is bad.

Its not just the amount of injuries we get, our players always seem to take twice as long as any other team to recover. How often do we see Arsenal players who were supposed to be out for 2 weeks reappear 6 weeks later?

I remember RVP after he left talking about never being allowed to do any strength training at Arsenal, not sure how much truth there was in that
