jackybb wrote:anyone know where i can purchase old skool grime instrumentals in 320 quality?
doesnt look like i can, so discogs is the best bet
most of wiley's best beats got released on the avalanche music cd, but other than that it's discogs/dnrvinyl basically
for newer grimish stuff slackk's raw missions ep on the ever dependable local action records is wicked, and actually sounds like grime and not breaks like most grime does these days.... yeah yeah progression bla bla bla
a lot of the uk funky stuff is basically grime. i'm obsessed with this champion tune
this is a fucking stonker - that drop

yeah that vinyl is terribly mastered, I know...old grime sounds that way etc, but it just sounds crap. still throw it inna mix every now and then though.

For the lead up to this release, PJam has put together a 45 minute mix of his productions going back to as early as 2003 to give people more of a understanding of his role in the scene before he took time off in 2007.

maybe this is not the right topic for it, but seeing there's a lot of expertise here I thought there was no better place.
I'm looking for a few tunes, and if possible a full set to complete.
not knowing how to cut samples I fell obligated to upload the full thing, I'm sure that, whoever doesn't mind mc's and fast mixing will love this one, in case they didn't get it before.
thanks to the generous peeps at grime tapes
10/05/04, NASTY on Deja; Mak10, Ghetto, Stormin, Big Seac & Escobar
The last set ever on Deja Vu. 40+ minutes of no wheels, no shouts, Mak10 tearing through beats. Not a bad way to go out really.
I did my best to make a tracklist as full as possible, but I only got to fill in some obvious classics and left out tracks while reading some stuff online, sorry about that.
anyway, here goes, enjoy the set and thanks upfront: mediafire link
